Having missed it for two years we are just delighted to bring back our ever-popular Trad@Lunch series this summer, curated this year by a talented group of young local traditional musicians Ryan Sheridan, Sinead Johnston and Conor McDonagh.

Tom Doherty comes from a musical family in Foxford , Co Mayo. A great box and melodeon player, he has toured extensively in Ireland, Europe and the U.S. Tom's music is featured on numerous television recordings and CDs. A full-time professional musician, sound engineer and music teacher, he is the musical director of the junior and teenage performance group, Glór na Sí. His playing is distinguished by his technical brilliance, innovative boldness and energetic and soulful playing style. He is joined in this concert by his daughter Aoibhín on concertina.
