SexyTadhg Presents- My Parade

Friday, 5 April 2024, 7.00pm

"Tadhg Griffin, aka SexyTadhg (the provocative, Fenian moniker I think we've all been waiting for), is a shining light in Irish music; with a bona fide rock star presence, it is no wonder they're selling out shows left and right."- The Irish Times.

“An intergalactic rock star”- GCN

"Theatrical disco music at its finest, a glorious intergalactic odyssey which combines musicianship with (their) creative flair"- Hotpress

The pianist, the songwriter, the vocalist, the fashion designer. No matter the medium, Tadhg's artistry is always surprising, authentic, raw and, above all else, thrillingly entertaining. Most recently named as one of the Irish Times ‘50 to Watch’ for 2024, and winner of the ‘Radical Spirit’ award at Dublin Fringe Festival.

As a solo artist, Tadhg's commanding vocals and expert piano playing have wowed audiences nationwide. At the same time, their big band extravaganza pushes Irish musicianship and live entertainment to its highest level. In their show-stopping performances, Tadhg is often compared to David Bowie, Elton John, Lady Gaga, or Freddie Mercury. However, they often flip this dominating aura to tell more personal and delicate stories centred around gender, sexuality and mental health.

Tadhg has brought their larger-than-life show to Ireland's most notable stages, festivals and events. From recently supporting two-time Eurovision winner Loreen at her sold-out gig in the Academy, closing the iconic Ruby Sessions to the Jerry Fish Sideshow stage at Electric Picnic, The Late Late Show, Kaleidoscope, the Grand Social, Culture Night Dublin, Sea Sessions and even Irish speaking festivals such as Lá Mór na Gaeilge, and Féile na Gealaí. Being a proud Gaeilgeoir, Tadhg often performs as Gaeilge in both solo and big band settings.

'My Parade' marks the new chapter of SexyTadhg. Two years after their debut release, ‘Ride The Wave’ ushers in a new era for Tadhg, and they hope you will join their parade.
